ORT

Open and Relational Theology is a theological movement emphasizing God's dynamic relationship with creation, viewing God as genuinely responsive to and affected by the world rather than unchanging and unaffected. ORT imagines God like a master improviser in a jazz ensemble— God responds creatively and authentically to what the other musicians (humans and creation) contribute, making the performance genuinely collaborative rather than a solo act where everything is predetermined.
